We are looking for a QA to join our client's team in Greater Manchester on a temporary 6-month contract. The main focus of this role will be generating and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9100 requirements. Candidates must have a good understanding of the FAIR process and be confident completing reports accurately and independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9100 requirements.
- Understand the FAIR process and ensure all required information and documentation are accurate and complete.
- Carry out final and in-process inspections of parts and assemblies when required.
- Review technical and inspection data to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Liaise with Production, Customer Services and Commercial teams to gather information and resolve any quality issues.
- Complete supporting quality documentation and inspection reports.
Essential Requirements
- Experience generating and completing FAIRs.
- A good understanding of AS9100 requirements and the First Article Inspection process.
- Experience working in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Confident communicating with different departments.

- A DBS check will be carried out by the client.
