The Quality Manager will oversee the entire Quality Management System, ensuring products meet customer specifications, regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015), and internal procedures. The Quality Manager will monitor and advise on the performance of the Quality Management System and, by producing appropriate data, will report on its performance to ensure the System is functioning properly.

Setting standards. Communicate any quality changes or system improvements (and their implementation needs), along with providing any training, tools and techniques that enable others to achieve minimum quality standards.

The main tasks of the role are outlined below:

  • Develop, implement and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Apply productive quality processing and, by utilising technical quality knowledge and engineering/manufacturing processing skills, strive for reductions in non-compliance.
  • Apply responsibility relating to internal/external communications, standard operating procedures and overall company performance.
  • Create a bank of standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a non-conformance reporting (NCR) system for the business, conducting root cause analysis and implementing lasting solutions.
  • Take responsibility for any non-compliance resolution, implementing timely corrective or preventive actions.
