Production Operative

Overview

Job Title: Manufacturing Operative. Stretford/ Trafford Park. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing / Engineering Production Operative for their site. They offer a first class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Engineering / Manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery – Specific training provided.
• Packing of the engineering components.
• Marking each component before despatch.
• Assembly using hand tools.
• Deburring of engineered parts.

They require a Manufacturing Operative with a minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.

Hours

Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 15:30 (37.5 hours per week).

Candidate Profile

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

• Some background in engineering.
• Understanding of engineering practices and methods.

• Special Attributes:
• Able to think logically through solving a problem.
• Dedication to the job and a willingness to achieve.
• A good sense of urgency.

Salary / Benefits

Salary: £25K – £27K basic. Temp ongoing with a view to a permanent role.

Benefits: Pension, overtime, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
