Ambitek are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Pipefitter / Welder to join our client's growing workshop team based in Chester on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with consistent work, overtime opportunities, and a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will be working alongside experienced fabricators and welders and should have strong welding, fabrication, and pipefitting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipefitting, fabrication, and welding duties within the workshop
- TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel
- MIG flux core welding desirable, but not essential
- Stick welding advantageous
- Fabricating components when required
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working to high quality and safety standards
- Supporting site-based work when required by the business
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pipefitter / Welder
- Strong TIG welding skills on stainless and carbon steel
- Fabrication experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work on other sites if needed
- Good work ethic and team player mentality
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
