Ambitek is currently recruiting experienced Pipe Fitters / Pipe Fabricators on behalf of our client based in Knowsley. This is a workshop-based role focused on pipe fabrication and the manufacture of pipe brackets for tanks. This position is for local candidates only – no accommodation / digs provided. You must be able to pass a pipe fabrication trade test.
Key Responsibilities- Fabrication of precision pipe brackets to meet client and industry standards
- Measuring, assembling and fabricating pipework to tight tolerances
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Maintaining high standards of quality and safe working practices
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter / Pipe Fabricator (shop-based preferred)
- Strong fabrication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Valid CCNSG or CSCS card
- Must be local to the Liverpool / Knowsley area
- Monday – Friday (first 8.5 hours): £26.25 / hr
- After 8.5 hours in week + first 5 hours Saturday: £36.75 / hr (OT1)
- After 5 hours Saturday + all Sunday: £47.25 / hr (OT2)
You must be able to measure and tack your own spools as part of the trade test using TIG.
