The Role
As a Pipe Welder / Coded TIG Pipe Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems across a variety of sectors. Duties will include:
- Welding and fabricating pipework to high standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Ensuring all work complies with industry specifications and safety standards
- Contributing effectively as part of a team while also working independently when required
What We\\\βre Looking For
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or Coded TIG Pipe Welder
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, pipefitting techniques, and materials
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Valid CCNSG or CSCS card (essential)
Pay & Hours
- Monday β Friday
- Basic Rate: Β£26.25 per hour (first 8 hours daily)
- Overtime 1: 36.75 per hour (after 8 hours Mon-Fri + first 5 hours Saturday)
- Overtime 2: Β£47.25 per hour (after 5 hours Saturday & all Sunday hours)
Trade Test
All applicants must be able to complete a 6G positional butt weld test on pipe (carbon steel & stainless steel β 2β diameter)
