Our client based near Stretford, Manchester are looking to recruit Mechanical Fitters on a long term basis. Applicants need to have experience working from drawings, assembling bespoke machinery for the Manufacturing Industry; Using skills such as pipe bending, pneumatics, installing pumps, hoses & motors. Candidates need to be time served Mechanical Fitters, who can read drawings & mark out etc. The machines are bespoke so Fitters need to have the ability to complete a job which may need adjustments as they go on. Hours of work: Mon-Thurs: 08.00-16.30 & Fri: 08.00-15.30 Basic 39 hours. Usual overtime of 1-2 hours a day & Saturday morning. Hourly Rates: PAYE: Basic: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour Overtime @ time & half. Temporary to Permanent positions. Umbrella Rates available. You will need some of your own tools.
