Our client, a world-class engineering and aerospace manufacturing company, is actively recruiting an experienced CNC Turner / Mazak CNC Lathe Operator to join their high-performing precision engineering team.
If you have experience setting and operating Mazak Quick Turn or Nexus series CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with competitive pay and outstanding career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Set and operate Mazak CNC lathes (Quick Turn & Nexus series)
- Program and edit using Mazatrol controls
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T specifications
- Conduct first-off inspections and maintain strict quality standards
- Optimise tooling, cutting parameters, and machining efficiency
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and 5S workplace organisation
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner in aerospace or precision engineering
- Strong Mazatrol programming and multi-axis machining capability
- Knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality standards
- Confident using precision measuring equipment: Micrometres, Vernier callipers, CMM equipment
- Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced engineering team
