TIG Welder / Fabricator required for a permanent role with a market-leading engineering company. Our client, a well-respected leader in their industry, is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join their production team. This is a full-time role focused on high-quality fabrication and welding, with opportunities to work on a variety of aluminium and sheet metal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish daily tasks and meet production deadlines
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings for fabrication/welding
  • TIG weld aluminium components
  • Fabricate sheet metal parts to precise tolerances
  • Ensure production output meets quality and timing requirements
  • Use company management systems to log work and maintain records
  • Follow company procedures and Health & Safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet customer expectations
  • Correctly mark-up component parts for fabrication
  • Support the Production Manager with quality checks and obtain sign-off
  • Maintain accurate work records to support client handover

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Carry out and record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and safety checks
  • Liaise with production manager and external engineers to resolve machine issues
  • Organise engineer visits where required
  • Operate in accordance with RAMS and complete Dynamic Risk Assessments as needed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder / Fabricator
  • Skilled in aluminium welding and sheet metal fabrication
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to quality, detail, and production deadlines
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Health & Safety conscious and able to follow procedures
