Industrial Pipefitters Required – Liverpool

Our client is a well-established and successful engineering firm, recognised for their commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence. Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload, they are expanding their team and are looking to recruit skilled industrial Pipefitters.
Role Overview
As a Pipefitter / Pipefitter Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of industrial piping systems across a range of engineering projects. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to work to drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and installation of industrial pipework
- Pipe fitting and welding to drawings and specifications
- Measuring, cutting, prepping, tacking, and installing pipe spools
- Working with flanged pipe systems
- Ensuring work is carried out to industry standards and site safety requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial Pipefitter / Pipefitter Welder
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Good knowledge of pipefitting techniques, welding processes, and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CCNSG or CSCS card required
- Industrial Pipefitters only – plumbers will not be considered
Hours & Pay Rates / CIS or Umbrella only
Monday – Friday
- First 8 hours: Basic Rate – £26.25/hr
- Overtime
- After 8 hours (weekday) & first 5 hours Saturday: £36.75/hr
- After 5 hours Saturday & all Sunday hours: £47.25/hr
Trade Test
Candidates must pass a trade test involving:
- Measuring and drawing a pipe spool between two flanges
- Cutting pipe to length
- Preparing and tacking square and level
- Final installation
Local candidates only – client does not provide digs or accommodation
