The Role
- As a Pipe Welder / Coded TIG Pipe Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems across a variety of sectors.
- Duties will include:
- Welding pipework to high standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Ensuring all work complies with industry specifications and safety standards
- Contributing effectively as part of a team while also working independently when required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or Coded TIG Pipe Welder
- Strong knowledge of welding processes and materials
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Valid CCNSG or CSCS card (essential)
Pay & Hours - CIS OR UMBRELLA ONLY
- Basic Mon – Friday (first 8 hours on site / 8.5 hours mon-thur workshop & 07:30-14:00 Fri) £26.25 Per Hour
- Overtime1 (After 8 hours on site mon-fri / workshop mon-thur after 8.5 hours) £36.75 Per Hour
- Weekend Overtime (after 5 hours on Saturday & all day Sunday) £47.25 Per Hour
Trade Test
All applicants must be able to complete a 6G positional butt weld test on pipe (carbon steel & stainless steel – 2” diameter).
