Our client, based in Salford, is looking to add an experienced Estimator to the team of 4 people.
About our client:
They are a well-established manufacturer and supplier of high-quality commercial washroom cubicles, working with contractors and clients across the UK. From education and healthcare to leisure and commercial developments, our products are known for reliability, quality, and service. Average order value circa £15K. Fast paced multiple order value.
The Role
You’ll work closely with our senior estimators and sales team, working on pricing projects and supporting tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of estimates and quotations
- Taking off quantities from drawings and specifications
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments for pricing and technical information
- Maintaining accurate records of enquiries, quotes, and revisions
- Supporting the sales team with pricing and project information
- Learning and developing an understanding of our product range and systems
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, numerate, and keen to learn.
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good numeracy and IT skills (Excel experience preferred)
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or estimating
- Ability to read basic technical drawings
- Relevant qualification (construction, engineering, or similar)
