Our manufacturing client, based in Radcliffe, require a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Purpose of the role:
To supervise electrical activities across the site working with the Engineering manager, Electrical and Mechanical team whilst continuously driving and executing maintenance improvements to increase overall maintenance effectiveness and efficiency.
Efficiently supervise all electrical activities across the site.
Work with the wide team to effectively manage break downs and planned improvements.
Create and implement PPMs.
Act as a role model in driving a safety-first culture.
Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork/documentation.
Zero accidents/incidents culture.
Adherence to health & safety procedures.
Work areas maintained in clean, tidy and safe condition
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive a safety first culture
- Drive and execute improvements to increase overall maintenance effectiveness and efficiency
- Effectively manage all activities across site to maximize production.
- Provide leadership in the application of all safety systems and processes
- Lead, motivate and drive engagement within the maintenance team
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to drive year on year OEE improvement
- Drive energy reduction programs
- Attend tier meetings as appropriate
Knowledge,Skills & Experience:
Essential:
Minimum of 10 years engineering experience.
Lean Mindset.
Organisational skills.

Computer literate.
Leadership skills.
Effective team work.
Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in an engineering discipline
Desirable:
Mechanical Competence.
Minimum of 10 years engineering experience gained from within the paper or continuous process related industries.
Experience of using SAP.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: 07.00 – 15.30.
Salary:
£53.5K plus call-out retainer of £320 each week on call and time & half if called out.
26 days holiday plus 10 bank holidays (Includes 2 additional)
