Experienced Machine Operative required for a laminate manufacturing company in Trafford Park. Our client, a well-established laminate manufacturing business, is seeking a skilled Machine Operative to join their production team. This is a temp to permanent role with competitive pay and early finish on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain machinery including:
- Edgebanders
- Post forming machines
- Spindle moulders
- Beam saws
- Monitor production quality and output
- Read and work from technical drawings/specifications
- Ensure materials are cut and finished to high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Report machinery faults or maintenance requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 12 months experience operating edgebanders, post forming machinery, spindle moulders, beam saws, or similar equipment
- Experience in laminate, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or similar industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
