The day to day duties of the role are as a CNC Turner you will be involved in programming, setting and operating the lathes with HAAS or FANUC controls. It will require inspection of the components.
The role is on a permanent day shift with an early finish on a Friday. Pay is between £16 and £20 per hour depending on your level of programming experience. The firm can offer excellent training with different control systems.
What is required from you?
- Be available to work permanent days and be flexible with overtime if needed
- Experience of setting/operating and programming using HAAS or FANUC although other controls will be considered
- Experience of inspecting your own work using mechanical inspection equipment
- Be happy to do batch work and one-offs
- Apprentice trained qualified machinists
- Be an experienced CNC Turner
