About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and reliable Multi-Skilled Stores Person to join their team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys variety in their daily work. The role involves managing incoming and outgoing equipment, ensuring all items are stored correctly, maintained, and tested before redistribution. You’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking, inspecting, and processing equipment when it is returned to store
- Conducting basic maintenance and safety checks
- Performing PAT testing on a range of equipment (experience preferred)
- Supporting mechanical and electrical tasks as required
- Managing stock levels, organisation, and stores housekeeping
- Preparing and issuing equipment for jobs and projects
- Updating records and reporting faults or issues promptly
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a stores, workshop, or equipment hire/returns environment
- Some knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- PAT testing experience
