The Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the on-site delivery of complex commercial projects, with a particular focus on retrofit, cut & carve, and refurbishment schemes. This role requires a strong understanding of working within live environments and constrained city-centre sites, where structural alterations, phased delivery, and intricate coordination are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site operations on retrofit, cut & carve, and refurbishment projects
- Manage complex sequencing including structural modifications
- Coordinate trades in live/occupied environments
- Ensure delivery against programme, budget, and quality
- Lead health & safety including RAMS and compliance
- Manage stakeholders and client relationships
- Drive programme and logistics in constrained sites
- Maintain quality standards, snagging, and handover
Skills & Experience
- Proven Construction Manager experience in commercial fit-out / refurbishment
- Strong experience in retrofit and cut & carve projects (essential)
- Experience working in live environments
- SMSTS, CSCS card
- Procore or similar systems experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
