As Divisional Operations Director, you will have overall responsibility for the operational performance of the division, ensuring the effective delivery of services, projects, and business initiatives. Develop and deliver divisional operational strategies aligned to Ambit's business objectives. Lead the execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and performance. Support business planning, forecasting, and long-term organisational development. Contribute to the overall leadership and direction of the business as a member of the senior management team. Oversee day-to-day divisional operations, ensuring high levels of performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Drive operational improvements, process optimisation, and business transformation initiatives. Financial & Commercial Management Take ownership of divisional budgets, forecasting, and financial performance. Monitor performance against financial targets and identify opportunities for growth. Support business development activities and strategic client engagement. Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of operational leaders and managers. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop future leaders within the business. Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and professional development. You are a strategic and commercially focused operational leader with strong business acumen and a passion for delivering results through people. Significant senior leadership experience within an Operations Director, Divisional Director, Regional Director, or similar executive role. Strong commercial and financial management experience, including budget ownership and P&L responsibility. Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people development skills. Strong stakeholder management and client relationship-building capabilities. Experience establishing and monitoring operational performance frameworks and KPIs. Degree-level education in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline. MBA or postgraduate qualification.
