The Property Sales Negotiator will support the successful sale of residential properties across Leeds by managing enquiries, conducting viewings, negotiating offers, and delivering excellent customer service. This role is ideal for a motivated, customer-focused individual with strong communication skills and a desire to develop a career in estate agency. The negotiator will handle day-to-day sales activity and help drive branch performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound enquiries from potential buyers and sellers, providing accurate and timely information.
- Conduct property viewings and follow up with prospective buyers to secure offers.
- Support the negotiation of offers between buyers and vendors to achieve agreed sales.
- Assist in reaching monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain consistent communication with vendors, providing updates on viewings, feedback, and market activity.
- Guide buyers through the property purchase process, from viewing to completion.
- Build strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Property Marketing & Administration
- Prepare and maintain high-quality property listings, photographs, descriptions, and brochures.
- Ensure all property information is accurate, compliant, and presented professionally.
- Manage CRM records, viewing schedules, feedback logs, and progression notes.
- Work with the team to promote listings across property portals, social media, and branch marketing channels.
- Liaise with solicitors, surveyors, lenders, and other third parties to progress sales to completion.
- Monitor critical dates and milestones to ensure a smooth transaction for clients.
- Report on sales progression to senior staff as required.
Compliance
- Ensure all activities meet industry standards and legal requirements, including AML, GDPR, and Consumer Protection Regulations.
- Follow internal procedures for property listing, client onboarding, and sales progression.
Skills & Experience Required
- 1 to 2 years experience minimum in a customer-facing, sales-focused role within property.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in conducting viewings and speaking with clients both in person and over the phone.
- Highly organised with excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Experience in residential property sales or estate agency.
- Knowledge of the Leeds property market.
- Experience using estate agency CRMs such as Reapit, Alto, or Jupix.
