Who we are.

We are Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with mental health needs and people with learning disabilities. Our Sileby service comprises two bungalows next to each other, situated in a cul-de-sac location with the nearest town being Loughborough. The people we support enjoy days out, home activities and holidays away. Two of our residents have season tickets, one for Leicester City Football Club and the other for Leicester Tigers Rugby. The people we support all have their own mobility vehicles so drivers would be preferred but it isn’t essential. We pride ourselves on practicing active support to enable the people we support to live as independently as possible and promote great quality of life.

Public transport is limited in this area. The buses stop at 6pm and the trains do not run after 9pm and do not run on a Sunday. Therefore, you would need to have your own transport or a means to travel there for your shifts.
