Who are Ambient Support?
Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years\β experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health needs and people with learning disabilities.
Newham Floating Support provides a housing related support service offering personalised practical and emotional support based on individual needs, and we currently operate from 7AM until 10PM. 365 days a year.
Floating Support enables people to understand and manage their own mental health.
The role of our Care Support Workers:
β Providing social and emotional support, either at home and/or in their local community
β Supporting residents with their personal care including personal hygiene needs if required.
β Support with their shopping and assisting with budgeting.
β Building/maintaining relationship with friends and family of our residents.
β Household tasks including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
β Going out for walks, meals and other activities that supported individuals may want to experience.
Skills and attributes of our Care Support Workers:
β You need to be a very calm, caring individual with a positive outlook.
β Empathy, caring and sensitivity to the needs of others.
β Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
β Computer Literate
β Car driver desirable but not essential
