Ambient People is seeking a strategic Risk Manager to lead Thurrock Council's risk management strategy in Grays, Essex. The role reports to the Head of Internal Audit, Counter Fraud, Risk Management and Insurance and supports governance across departments.
The ideal candidate will hold IRM membership, a postgraduate qualification, and substantial strategic risk experience in local government. Two on-site days per week are required, with the rest flexible or hybrid.
