Health Care Assistant Wanted – £12.21–£13/hour | Flexible Shifts | Weekly Pay

Hello – greetings from Ambience Care!

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Health Care Assistant to join our growing team, providing essential care to care homes and other clients across the UK.

Locations:

Whitehaven, Cumbria

Shifts:

Flexible – Long day, Early, Late, and Night shifts available

Pay Rate:

£12.21–£13.00 per hour (dependent on client and shift type)

Additional Benefits:

  • Transport/Emergency Allowance Provided
  • Weekly Pay (Every Friday)

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Assist patients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  2. Help with mobility and moving patients safely
  3. Support with eating and drinking
  4. Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
  5. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients
  6. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in care areas
  7. Report changes in patients\' condition to the nursing staff
  8. Assist in preparing patients for treatment or procedures
  9. Help with maintaining patient records and documentation
  10. Promote dignity, respect, and independence of patients

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred (especially in care settings)
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
