Hello – greetings from Ambience Care!
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Health Care Assistant to join our growing team, providing essential care to care homes and other clients across the UK.
Locations:
Whitehaven, Cumbria
Shifts:
Flexible – Long day, Early, Late, and Night shifts available
Pay Rate:
£12.21–£13.00 per hour (dependent on client and shift type)
Additional Benefits:
- Transport/Emergency Allowance Provided
- Weekly Pay (Every Friday)
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Help with mobility and moving patients safely
- Support with eating and drinking
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in care areas
- Report changes in patients\' condition to the nursing staff
- Assist in preparing patients for treatment or procedures
- Help with maintaining patient records and documentation
- Promote dignity, respect, and independence of patients
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred (especially in care settings)
- Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
