Tactical Response Officer β SIA Licence is essential to be considered for the role and a manual driving license

This role will endeavour to support the client to deliver industry leading services. As the forefront of the business, it will be expected that you will hold the best in business customer service to all stakeholders. You will be required to deploy to the highest risks areas/locations to support our client where itβs needed and take a proactive approach to new age guarding.
Location: Leeds
Hourly Rate: 12.60
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Thursday- Sunday nights 18:00-06:00 plus overtime (Contracted to work Bank Holidays)
Essential: Full UK Manual driving license is required to be considered for the position, vehicle provided which will be based at a specific site. Phone & Tablet are also supplied with the role.
Main Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to alarm activations, assess and secure the scene, liaise with emergency services as needed.
- Conduct keyholding duties, which include unattended lock-ups and unlocking of premises at scheduled times.
- Carry out regular mobile and foot patrols across assigned sites or geographic zones to deter unauthorised activity.
- Ensure public safety, acting as a visible, professional presence in diverse environments.
- Perform routine security checks, including perimeter rounds, internal inspections, and hazard identification.
- Serve as first responder to emergencies, such as fires or medical incidents, applying first aid as trained.
- Manage checkpoint tagging or time-stamped patrol routes, demonstrating presence across multiple locations.
- Maintain incident reports and security logs, ensuring accuracy for audits and client records.
- Maintain proper radio and communication contact, reporting updates or threats in real-time.
- Continuously check and report on vehicle condition and equipment status, including before-and-after shift safety checks
- Demonstrate a high level of situational awareness, professionalism, and adherence to security protocol
Person Requirements
Desirable:
- SIA accreditations
Essential:
- A role within the security industry, specifically in guarded services working in retail security.
- Full UK Manual driving license is required to be considered for the position
- Valid SIA licence
- Strong communication skills

- Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner.
Knowledge and experience:
1 year front line security guarding experience.
