Overview
Retail Security Officer role at Amberstone Security. This position is based in Bolton. The role offers 40 hours per week with a fully flexible pattern: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat (13:15 β 21:15) and Sun (10:15 β 16:15). The hourly rate is Β£12.35. A current SIA licence is required to apply. Responsibilities
- Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity
- Assessing and identifying vulnerabilities, and working proactively to minimise risk
- Liaising with management and local authorities when applicable
- Managing vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid causing distress
- Completing colleague and contractor searches when required in line with customer company policy
- Digitally reporting incidents and using tablets/phones for daily activity planning
- Providing detailed and legible incident reporting to assist the Client and Local Authorities
The Person / Requirements
- Valid SIA licence to apply for this role
- Previous experience in a Retail Security role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Must be able to provide a full 5-year checkable work or education history
- A current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence is required to apply
