Responsibilities

  • Provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities
  • Carry out guarding responsibilities in-store
  • Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
  • Assess vulnerabilities and proactively minimise risk
  • Liaise with management and local authorities as applicable
  • Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
  • Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with customer policy
  • Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning
  • Prepare detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities

Location, Hours & Pay

Location: Skelmersdale

Hours: 15 hours

Shift Pattern: Saturday 13:00–22:00, Sunday 10:00–16:00

Hourly Rate: Β£12.50

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must have a valid SIA licence to apply
  • Previous experience in a Retail Security role is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided
