Responsibilities
- Provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities
- Carry out guarding responsibilities in-store
- Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
- Assess vulnerabilities and proactively minimise risk
- Liaise with management and local authorities as applicable
- Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
- Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with customer policy
- Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning
- Prepare detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities
Location, Hours & Pay
Location: Skelmersdale
Hours: 15 hours
Shift Pattern: Saturday 13:00β22:00, Sunday 10:00β16:00
Hourly Rate: Β£12.50
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must have a valid SIA licence to apply
- Previous experience in a Retail Security role is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided
