Searles Leisure Resort is a long‑established, family‑run holiday resort located on the beautiful Norfolk coastline in Hunstanton. For over 70 years, Searles has been one of the region’s most trusted destinations for UK seaside breaks, built around a simple motto: “creating happiness for all ages.” The resort is known for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere and strong community values.
The postholder will be required to support the group in providing an outstanding service and creating a five star, well maintained and safe environment for our customers, by preparing and cooking meals to an excellent standard for the resort’s guests, at one of the 2 restaurants and/or takeaway outlets located on the resort. The role also includes working catered events and seasonal functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food to the required standards whilst meeting food hygiene regulations.
- Prepare and serve meals in a restaurant or takeaway setting.
- Maintain Food safety in all cooking and food preparation areas.
- Uphold high standards of food quality at all times, paying meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum.
- Work within Company’s Health and Safety guidelines.
- Assist in dealing with customer queries and problems promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain all company premises to a five-star standard of cleanliness, tidiness, presentation, and safety.
- Be responsible for ensuring food safety/health and safety procedures are always adhered to.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
- Ensure all start and end of shift procedures are adhered to.
- Assist F&B Operations Manager and Chefs in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Comply with all regulations and policies such as Data Protection Act, Health & Safety and Safeguarding.
- To complete any in-house training as required and participate in team meetings.
Education, Training & Experience:
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
- Previous Commis or Chef de Partie experience
- Professional Cooking/Chef Skills (Any Level)
- Teamwork skills and the ability to act as the public face of the business
- Computer literate

- Full valid Driving Licence for UK (Desirable)
- Flexible Schedule, for Working hours
