The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud technologies and a proven track record of working on long-term, impactful projects. This role requires SC clearance and offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile public sector initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Concourse to ensure seamless application delivery.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate deployments and configurations.
- Optimize and manage Linux-based systems to ensure high performance and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain compliance with security protocols and standards required for public sector environments.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Concourse, Terraform, and Linux.
- Current SC Clearance is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience in the public sector, with an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of government projects.
- A strong track record of working on long-term engagements, with no short stints (3 months or less) on the CV.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and additional certifications in cloud or DevOps technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and strategies to ensure infrastructure health.
