We're looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Growth team and help us build a high-quality pipeline through research, insight and targeted outbound activity.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strong research skills, CRM accuracy, market insight and confident written communication to open up the right conversations with the right organisations.

You'll work closely with the Growth and Marketing teams to identify opportunities, engage prospects and generate pre-qualified meetings for our Solutions Directors, helping Amberjack connect with priority accounts in a more focused and insight-led way.

  • Pipeline generation and outbound activity
  • Delivering targeted outbound activity following events, campaigns and priority account activity
  • Generating a consistent flow of high-quality, pre-qualified meetings for the Growth team
  • Personalising outreach using insight-led messaging aligned to Amberjack's value proposition
  • CRM and data management
  • Maintaining and enriching Hub Spot and other data platforms, including Lead Onion
  • Building accurate, segmented contact databases across target accounts
  • Supporting campaign execution through CRM workflows, reporting and data quality management
  • Account research and market insight
  • Researching target organisations, decision-makers, talent strategies and relevant market challenges
  • Mapping stakeholder groups across HR, Early Careers, Talent Acquisition, and L&D
  • Monitoring early talent and volume recruitment trends to strengthen sales conversations
  • Sales enablement and collaboration
  • Preparing briefing notes, insight packs and prospect research for client meetings
  • Providing data-led inputs for proposals, pitches and account plans
  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing to improve outreach, conversion and campaign ROI

  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the motivation and ambition to build momentum and succeed in a commercial role
  • Confidence starting conversations, following up with prospects and picking up the phone where it will move an opportunity forward
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, engaging and tailored outreach
  • Good research skills, data accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confidence working to targets, activity metrics and clear priorities

You'llstand out if you

  • Have experience in a pre-sales, sales support, business development or similar commercial role
  • Can bring examples of what has worked well in previous outreach, lead generation or prospect engagement activity
  • Have hands-on experience using Hub Spot, Lead Onion or other CRM, prospecting and data tools
  • Have worked in a B2B services, consultative sales, early careers, talent acquisition or recruitment environment
  • Are confident creating clear, professional slide decks, briefing notes or prospect summaries using Power Point or similar presentation software
  • Bring ideas that help the Growth and Marketing teams work together more effectively
