The Position:

• We’re hiring an API Engineer to build the API layer that connects AI services, products, users, and third-party partners. You’ll work with C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure to deliver secure, scalable APIs that support new AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

API Development:

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs
• Use C# .NET, SQL, and Azure services
• Implement OAuth/JWT authentication
• Produce clear API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)

Essential Skills:

• Backend/API engineering experience
• Strong C# .NET skills
• Good SQL and database understanding
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of HTTP, REST, and error handling
• Familiarity with OAuth/JWT or API keys
• Azure exposure
• Comfortable writing unit and integration tests
• APIs for external partners/integrations
• Swagger/OpenAPI
• Azure API Management or gateways
• Event-driven patterns or queues
• CI/CD and DevOps awareness
• API security and rate limiting
• Understanding how AI services use APIs

Collaboration:

• Work with AI platform and product teams
• Support third-party integrations
• Join architectural discussions
• Assist with incident response and troubleshooting
