Our business: Amberes Recruitment is a global search partner to high-growth technology companies across AI, Cybersecurity, and SaaS. We partner with VC and PE-backed businesses from first hire through to IPO, working directly with founders, CROs, and investors to build revenue-generating teams. We operate as a lean, high-performance business, focused on delivering high-quality outcomes rather than high volume. The majority of our work is retained or exclusive, and we support clients across the US, UK, Europe, and increasingly APAC.
The opportunity: We are hiring a Delivery Consultant (180) to join the business, focused on candidate generation, qualification, and process delivery across live mandates. You will work directly with the Managing Director and senior consultants on high-value searches, with around 85% of the roles being exclusive or retained. This is not a low-fee, high-volume environment. You will work on fewer roles, but at a much higher level, with stronger clients and larger fees. You will be trained directly by senior leadership and given real responsibility from day one. You will see how high-level search is actually done, not just be asked to source profiles. We also actively leverage the latest AI tools across sourcing, research, outreach, and process management, meaning you will learn how to operate at a higher level, faster. There is a clear and defined pathway into a 360 Consultant position within 8–12 months, where you will go on to own clients, revenue, and your own desk.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own candidate delivery across live mandates spanning AI, Cyber and SaaS
- Build and manage high-quality talent pipelines across niche and competitive markets
- Headhunt and engage top-tier candidates across the US, UK, Europe and APAC
- Qualify candidates in depth, covering commercial performance, deal sizes, progression and motivations
- Manage interview processes end-to-end, including preparation, feedback and closing support
- Work closely with the Managing Director on search strategy and execution
- Deliver consistently against weekly CV and interview targets
- Build strong market knowledge to support your transition into a 360 role
What we’re looking for:
- Circa 0–6 months recruitment experience, or a graduate / entry-level sales profile with strong commercial drive
- A strong willingness to learn, with a high level of focus and commitment to improving quickly
- A burning desire to achieve and succeed financially
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple candidates, clients and interview processes simultaneously without things slipping
- A methodical and structured mindset, with the ability to plan, map markets and execute targeted search strategies
- Comfortable working in a role that requires detailed market mapping, strategic thinking and a highly targeted approach to candidate engagement
- Driven, competitive and resilient, with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior candidates
- Comfortable working in a lean and fast-paced environment
- Any degree background is fine, and we equally value strong life experience, work ethic and attitude over academic pedigree
- Sporting backgrounds are a bonus, as well as individuals who have a clear passion or obsession outside of work that they have pursued seriously
- People who actively invest in themselves through books, courses, podcasts or other forms of self-development, and who take ownership of their own growth
- Someone who wants to build a long-term career in recruitment and progress quickly
What you’ll get:
- A high-fee environment, meaning larger commission per deal and stronger earning potential early
- Extra incentive every time you do a deal (spin the wheel, and win prizes such as cash, dinner for two, extra holidays and more)
- Overachieve on quota in a quarter, and receive kicker/ bonuses
- Overachieve on quota for the year, and receive Presidents Club Performance incentives including top London restaurants, private members clubs, weekend trips to Cannes, premium sporting fixtures (football, rugby, tennis) and more
- A clear and realistic 8–12 month pathway into a 360 Consultant position
- Structured progression from Delivery to Associate, Consultant and Senior
- Direct exposure to clients, founders and senior hires from day one
- Hands‑on training from experienced recruiters with over 10 years of experience
- A high-performance culture focused on output, ownership and results
- Regular client and candidate meetings across London, Europe and the US
- A serious opportunity to travel, with consultants already having travelled to New York, across Europe, Sydney, and regularly attending in‑person meetings across London
- Uncapped commission with the opportunity to earn early in your career
- An on‑site gym access to support routine, discipline and performance
Progression pathway:
- 0–6 months: You will build core delivery skills across sourcing, qualification and process management, while generating consistent CV submissions and interviews. You will begin making placements and earning commission.
- 6–12 months: You will take greater ownership of candidate processes and relationships, while gaining exposure to clients and commercial discussions. You will start to build credibility within a specific market.
- 12 months+: You will transition into a 360 Consultant position, taking ownership of clients, revenue and your own desk, with full control over your earnings and progression.
