Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning residents’ bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces and frequently touched areas.
- Following cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures.
- Using cleaning products, equipment and PPE safely in accordance with COSHH guidance.
- Maintaining residents’ privacy, dignity and personal belongings.
- Replenishing supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain a comfortable, homely environment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Can work independently and manage daily cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Is reliable, organised, friendly and respectful towards residents.
- Understands the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly in a care setting, but not essential. Full training will be provided, including infection control, safe chemical handling and our cleaning standards.
