A Utility Mapping Surveyor position has opened at Amber Utilities Ltd due to an increased demand for surveys. Details of the job
We carry out a range of diverse utility mapping surveying projects using highly advanced technological equipment. Sites range from simple houses to complex high street and road surveys, with projects lasting more than 6 weeks. All surveyors are expected to survey to the standards of Amber Utilities.
Responsibilities
- Punctual, flexible and professional approach to work.
- Live in Rugby or be willing to travel nationwide to different sites around the UK; office is located in Rugby.
- Maintain a full and clean UK driver’s license.
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic, knowledge and willingness to deliver high-quality surveys.
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team and independently where required.
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge is useful but not required, as CAD support is provided by staff.
- Meet the applicant requirements: CSCS card (minimum Labourer\’s level), DBS and H&S training.
Qualifications
- Utility Surveying experience: 1–2 years (preferred).
- Location: Rugby, with nationwide travel as needed.
- Full & clean UK driving licence.
- CSCS card (minimum Labourer level), DBS and Health & Safety training.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently; self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge is advantageous but not required.
