We are recruiting a Registered Service Manager to lead a small, friendly residential service in Truro, supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate manager to make a real difference within a close-knit team and a supportive organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with CQC as the Registered Manager for the service.
- Provide strong leadership and operational management of the home.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
- Deliver and embed person-centred, outcome-focused care.
- Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, supervision, and appraisals.
- Oversee safeguarding, medication management, and risk assessments.
- Monitor budgets and maintain effective resource management.
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive culture.
About You
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Service Manager within a residential or supported living service.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or autism.
- A leadership style that is compassionate, confident, and collaborative.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and people-management skills.
- Relevant management qualification (or willingness to work towards).
