Amber Mace is supporting an OH Provider looking for an experienced Senior OH Advisor to be based at their client's site in Rosyth. This is a hands-on, senior role where you will manage a small team while delivering a high-quality OH service across the site.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Occupational Health Service, carrying out health surveillance, fitness-for-work assessments, case management, and providing clinical supervision. You will also support the development of the team, lead on health promotion initiatives, and ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a small team (1 OH Technician, 1 OH Nurse, 1 Administrator).
- Carry out health surveillance, audiometry, spirometry, and fitness-for-work assessments.
- Undertake case management and produce clear, high-quality advice reports.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to less experienced team members.
- Advise managers and employees on occupational health matters and workplace wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with NMC guidance.
- Lead projects and health promotion initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Support team development through appraisals, training, and mentoring.
Requirements
- Qualified OH professional with current NMC registration.
- Proven experience in a senior OH role with strong leadership skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
