Position: Residential Care Manager Salary: £40,000 per annum Setting: Residential Care Home Hours: 40 per week over 5 days (includes alternate weekends) – Supernumerary Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a well known and prestigious provider who are looking for a Residential Care Manager to support the team at this luxurious care home in Chesham, Buckinghamshire rated ‘Good’ by the CQC. This is the perfect progression opportunity for someone experienced as a Dementia Lead or Unit Lead ready for that next step in their career or someone who is looking for their next opportunity and who want to work with a great care provider. As the Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the residential unit within the home (30 beds), ensuring all residents are provided with the highest possible standards of care. You will liaise with health professionals, make requests for GP visits where necessary and ensure the correct medication is supplied, checked in and administered in line with company policies and procedures. As a Manager you will manage, support and develop team members ensuring the completion of effective inductions, appraisals, one to ones and performance coaching. Reporting directly to the Home Manager, you will also work with Care Manager counterparts to effectively resource and manage the care rota, ensuring the correct staffing numbers and skill mix to meet specific needs of residents.
