We are recruiting a Registered Service Manager to lead a small, friendly residential service in Truro, supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate manager to make a real difference within a close-knit team and a supportive organisation.

As Registered Service Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will lead, motivate, and develop your team, while working closely with external professionals, families, and commissioners to deliver outstanding outcomes for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register with CQC as the Registered Manager for the service.
  • Provide strong leadership and operational management of the home.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
  • Deliver and embed person-centred, outcome-focused care.
  • Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, supervision, and appraisals.
  • Oversee safeguarding, medication management, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor budgets and maintain effective resource management.
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive culture.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Service Manager within a residential or supported living service.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or autism.
  • A leadership style that is compassionate, confident, and collaborative.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and people-management skills.
  • Relevant management qualification (or willingness to work towards).
