We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead our 40-bedded residential nursing home in Chorley. The home is proudly rated ‘Good’ by the CQC and provides exceptional, person-centred care to our residents.
As Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the management, leadership, and day-to-day running of the service — ensuring high standards of clinical care, regulatory compliance, and an excellent quality of life for all residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong leadership to the care and nursing teams, promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence.
- Maintain and continually improve CQC standards, ensuring the home remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.
- Oversee clinical governance, staffing, budgets, and occupancy levels.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Lead quality assurance and service improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a motivated and skilled team.
- Manage financial and operational performance in line with company objectives.
- Current NMC Pin (Registered Nurse qualification required)
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing a nursing or residential home.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A passion for providing exceptional person-centred care.
- Competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
