Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a family-run care provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We are now seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Manager to work alongside our Home Managers and leadership team to support quality, compliance, and the smooth running of our services.

Responsibilities

  • Support Home Managers with the day-to-day running of both services, offering guidance, problem-solving, and operational oversight
  • Lead on quality assurance and compliance, supporting homes to meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Carry out regular audits, action plans, and service reviews, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Support with policies, procedures, and governance, ensuring they are embedded into practice
  • Assist with business and operational performance, including occupancy, staffing, budgets, and efficiency where appropriate
  • Support managers with investigations, incidents, complaints, and safeguarding matters
  • Provide leadership support, coaching, and development to managers and senior staff

  • Proven experience in a management role within the care sector
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards, compliance, and quality improvement
  • Confident supporting and mentoring managers and leadership teams
