Are you an experienced Nurse Leader ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a proactive and confident Clinical Lead to join a well‑established nursing home in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong clinical professional with proven leadership skills and a passion for high‑quality care.
As Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the clinical standards within the home, ensuring residents receive safe, person‑centred and compassionate care. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will lead and support the nursing team, drive clinical excellence, and help maintain compliance across the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams
- Oversee care delivery to ensure high-quality standards and best practice
- Work collaboratively with the Home Manager to maintain a safe, effective, and caring environment
- Actively contribute to audits, quality monitoring, and improvement plans
- Lead by example, inspiring confidence and professionalism across the team
- Play an active role in CIW preparation and inspections
About You:
- A qualified Nurse with current NMC registration
- Experienced within a nursing home or similar care setting
- Confident and capable in leading, developing and mentoring others
- Knowledgeable and experienced with CIW inspections and regulatory standards
- Approachable, supportive and passionate about delivering outstanding care
