We are seeking a highly organised, analytical, and commercially aware PMO Lead to support the effective management and growth of Amber Labs’ largest public sector partnership. Reporting to the Strategic Account Lead (Account Director) and working closely with the Account Manager, Delivery, and Operations teams, the PMO Lead will be the backbone of structured account execution — driving governance, reporting, and data integrity across a complex portfolio of client and partner engagements. This role will play a pivotal part in transforming how Amber Labs manages strategic demand through Capgemini and end-customer relationships — moving from reactive processes to proactive, data-driven account control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Governance & Rhythm
    • Establish and maintain the governance framework for the account — including meeting cadence, reporting packs, and action tracking at all levels (weekly, monthly, executive).
    • Produce clear, insight-led reports by customer group, highlighting conversion progress, risks, and blockers across demand pipelines.
    • Ensure alignment between commercial, delivery, and operational data; reconcile figures for revenue, utilisation, and demand regularly.
  • Data, Reporting & Insight
    • Build and own dashboards and reporting templates that give the Account Director and wider team visibility of pipeline health, conversion rates, and resourcing gaps.
    • Track all demand through structured processes — identifying where opportunities stall and ensuring accountable owners and next actions.
    • Partner with Operations, Talent, and Finance to ensure all systems (HubSpot, Monday.com, Xero, etc.) reflect accurate, timely data.
  • Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Coordination
    • Coordinate input from multiple internal and client teams to ensure information flow is structured and reliable.
    • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend data-backed improvements to reduce lag between demand, qualification, and conversion.
    • Support the development of standardised templates and governance models that can be replicated across other strategic accounts.
  • Commercial & Risk Awareness
    • Work alongside the Strategic Account Lead and Commercial team to monitor SoW progress, start delays, extensions, and client-side risks.
    • Track commercial exposure (e.g. delayed starts, resourcing gaps) and ensure visibility of impact on revenue and margin.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experienced PMO or delivery operations professional with a background in consulting, digital transformation, or large-scale public sector programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing account or programme governance — building structure, cadence, and transparency.
  • Skilled at managing data, reporting, and stakeholder communication across multiple teams and systems.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tool capability (e.g., Monday.com dashboards, Power BI or similar).
  • Comfortable challenging constructively and ensuring accountability across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and motivated by turning complexity into clarity.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and proactively creating structure where none exists — able to self-activate, problem-solve, and move work forward independently in a high-growth start-up environment.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a fast-growing consultancy where innovation and personal development are key priorities.
  • Private Medical Insurance (Aviva).
  • Company Pension Plan (Nest).
  • 25 days annual leave + UK bank holidays.
  • Access to Perkbox – global employee rewards and wellness platform.
  • Generous employee referral scheme.
  • Collaborative, inclusive work environment that encourages experimentation and bold ideas.
  • Choose your preferred device – Mac or PC.
