This role will sit at the heart of a complex delivery environment, leading multidisciplinary teams responsible for the transformation and modernisation of critical government services. You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading multidisciplinary delivery teams using agile principles, tools and techniques
- Translating strategic product and programme roadmaps into deliverable workstreams
- Driving delivery across complex transformation initiatives and large-scale government programmes
- Managing programme dependencies, milestones, risks, assumptions and constraints
- Supporting teams to identify and overcome blockers while maintaining delivery momentum
- Working closely with engineering, product, operational and policy stakeholders
- Ensuring delivery aligns with organisational objectives, governance requirements and user needs
- Maintaining clear delivery plans, reporting and governance artefacts
- Facilitating collaboration across multiple teams and workstreams
- Supporting effective decision-making through clear communication, prioritisation and planning
- Balancing agile delivery approaches with broader programme and project management requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement within delivery teams and the wider programme
What We're Looking For
You will need:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager within complex technology and transformation programmes
- Strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams using agile principles and practices
- Demonstrable experience translating strategic roadmaps into successful delivery outcomes
- Strong programme and project planning capabilities
- Experience managing complex dependencies, milestones, risks and constraints
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with engineering, product and business teams within large-scale delivery environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams
- Strong facilitation, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Experience operating within complex governance and assurance frameworks
- Experience delivering digital transformation programmes at scale
- Experience working within UK Central Government
- Strong understanding of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and ways of working
- Consultancy experience delivering within client-facing environments
- Experience supporting service modernisation and large-scale transformation programmes
- Knowledge of agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Relevant certifications such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent

How We Work
We've worked hard to build a team of people who are experts at what they do. Because of that, we'll trust you to get on with your job and give you the space to do it well. But you'll always have plenty of support around you whenever you need it, whether that's to sense-check an approach, tackle a tricky client challenge or simply bounce ideas around.
We keep our structure flat and our processes straightforward. If you have a good idea, you'll be encouraged to run with it, and if something could be done better, we'll encourage you to say so. Ultimately, we work with people who take pride in their work, support their team and want to leave things better than they found them.
What Happens Next?
Once you've applied, our Talent Acquisition team will review your application and be in touch regarding next steps.
Typicaly, our process consists of two interview stages, followed by a final stage discussion with one of our Partners.
A Human Approach to Hiring
We use AI responsibly, in our client projects and internally. When it comes to hiring, though, there are always real people behind the process. Decisions throughout the recruitment process, from CV review and progressing to interview through to making an offer, are made by our Talent team.
