We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to play a key role in building a resilient, scalable HR function within our growing technology consultancy. This role will act as the primary day to day HR partner for managers, providing trusted advice on employee relations, performance management, and people processes, while working closely with the HR Manager on strategic initiatives.
- Employee Relations & Manager Support
- Act as a first point of contact for line managers on employee relations matters, including performance, absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases
- Prepare and review formal HR documentation and correspondence
- Support workforce planning, organisational change, and role design discussions
- Advise on probation outcomes, pay changes, and contractual matters
- Policy, Compliance & Risk
- Ensure HR practices align with UK employment law and best practice
- Lead on updating and embedding HR policies and procedures
- Support preparation for tribunals, settlements, and external legal engagement
- Partner with the HR Manager on risk mitigation and complex case strategy
- Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead or support HR initiatives across performance management, wellbeing, engagement, and DE&I
- Improve HR processes, documentation, and use of HR systems
- Contribute to HR reporting and insights for senior leadership
- Work closely with the HR Administrator to ensure smooth HR operations
- Provide guidance, quality assurance, and informal mentoring
- Act as deputy to the HR Manager during periods of absence where appropriate
Strong experience in an HR Advisor role within the UK
Confident stakeholder management and coaching skills
Remote-first working
