Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in business process analysis and process mapping to support complex transformation programmes.
The role will involve working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to capture, validate and refine end-to-end business processes, translating complex requirements into clear process maps and visual artefacts.
You will facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions, helping to establish a shared understanding of current and future-state processes and ensuring these are accurately documented and communicated.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to capture, validate and refine end-to-end business processes.
- Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into clear, structured process maps and visual artefacts.
- Document current-state and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Use Microsoft Visio to create accurate and accessible process maps.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure processes are clearly understood and consistently documented.
- Support the identification and analysis of business requirements within complex transformation environments.
- Communicate complex processes and requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply GDS principles and ways of working where appropriate.
- Work effectively within Agile delivery teams and across wider programme stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience working as a Business Analyst within complex transformation programmes.
- Proven experience in business process analysis and process mapping.
- Strong hands-on experience using Microsoft Visio for process mapping.
- Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Ability to capture and translate complex requirements into clear process documentation and visual artefacts.
- Experience documenting and analysing current and future-state processes.
- Good understanding of GDS principles and standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within UK Central Government would be highly desirable.
- Agile delivery experience.
- Must be BPSS eligible.
