The Role
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our growing public sector delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully delivered complex digital programmes within UK Central Government environments and understands the challenges of operating at scale across multidisciplinary teams. You will play a key role in driving delivery across secure government projects, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and successful programme outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital and technology programmes
- Manage delivery governance, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Drive agile delivery practices within multidisciplinary teams
- Engage with senior stakeholders across government and delivery partners
- Ensure delivery aligns with GDS standards and government ways of working
- Support programme planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Foster strong collaboration between technical, product, and business teams
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager within UK Central Government
- Strong understanding of GDS standards and agile delivery methodologies
- Experience managing large-scale, complex digital transformation programmes
- Ability to operate confidently within governance-heavy public sector environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, and programme delivery lifecycle activities
- Eligible to obtain BPSS clearance
