We are seeking an SC Cleared Test Analyst to support the delivery of complex, cloud-hosted data solutions within a highly regulated environment.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for a tester with strong data testing and Informatica experience, combined with a solid understanding of cloud-based delivery across AWS and Azure. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and delivery teams to ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of data-centric solutions. While the primary focus is functional and integration testing within data environments, candidates with performance testing expertise will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Analysis & Design
- Review business, functional, technical, and data requirements
- Develop: Test scenarios / Test cases / Test execution plans
- Ensure traceability between requirements and test coverage
- Test Execution & Reporting
- Execute functional and integration testing activities
- Record and manage defects through to resolution
- Produce clear and accurate test evidence and reporting
- Work collaboratively with: Developers/ Data Engineers/ Business Analysts Delivery teams.
Informatica (Primary Requirement)
- Proven hands-on experience with Informatica
- Experience supporting:
- ETL development and validation
- Data integration testing
- Data transformation verification
- Platform configuration and testing activities
- Strong understanding of:
- Source-to-target mappings
- Data lineage
- Data reconciliation techniques
Data Project Experience
- Demonstrable experience working on data-focused programmes and projects
- Experience testing: Data pipelines/ ETL processes / Data migration activities Data integration solutions
- Ability to:
- Validate complex data transformations
- Identify data quality issues
- Verify business and technical data requirements
- Strong understanding of:
- Data quality assurance
- Data validation methodologies
- End-to-end integration testing
Cloud Platforms – AWS & Azure
- Practical experience working within cloud-hosted environments using: Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of:
- Cloud deployment models
- Test environment management
- Cloud-hosted data services
- Monitoring and operational considerations impacting testing
- Ability to support testing across distributed cloud environments
Highly Desirable Skills
- Performance Testing
- Experience with tools such as: LoadRunner & Performance Center.
- Experience Performing
- Load, Stress, Soak and Endurance testing/ Performance benchmarking.
