We specialise in cloud transformation, DevOps enablement, and secure‑by‑design engineering, supporting high‑profile programmes that make a real impact. We are currently seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a fully remote UK‑based role, working on mission‑critical Central Government projects.

  • Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Containerisation (Docker)
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure cloud architecture
  • Experience working in Agile, multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Ability to take ownership of technical solutions and contribute to engineering best practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with Government security standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams
  • Contribute to technical decision‑making and continuous improvement
  • Experience working to Government Digital Service (GDS) standards
  • Knowledge of logging/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Experience with cost optimisation in AWS environments
  • AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
