We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Delivery Manager to support the delivery of large-scale cloud and platform programmes within a complex government environment. This role requires an individual who can quickly establish credibility across multiple suppliers, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders, driving programme outcomes from day one. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring delivery remains on track while navigating governance, assurance, and compliance requirements. This is a delivery leadership role rather than a technical engineering role; however, a strong understanding of cloud-native delivery, platform engineering, and modern DevOps practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud & Platform Programme Delivery (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven track record delivering large-scale cloud or platform transformation programmes

- Experience delivering programmes involving cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Develop and maintain delivery plans, milestone tracking, and dependency management frameworks
- Support governance forums and assurance activities
- Ensure delivery remains aligned with programme objectives and governance expectations
- Risk & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, technical dependencies, resource constraints, and supplier issues
- Escalate issues appropriately while driving resolution
- Stakeholder Management
- Build effective relationships with Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), programme leadership, technical leads, suppliers, and delivery partners
- Provide clear delivery reporting and recommendations
- Challenge stakeholders constructively when risks, assumptions, or dependencies threaten successful delivery
