DevOps Engineer Pay: GBP 35,000 – GBP 80,000. NewCastle Upon Tyne One of our software development and consulting clients who are into financial services are seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure and environments, overseeing, managing, and maintaining our Continuous Integration infrastructure, developing monitoring and diagnostic tools, and delivering automation solutions for end-users. Required Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell or scripting languages. Experience with C#, Java, or Python, with a background in development or the ability to code. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar. Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration through Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. Knowledge of monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana, or similar, and experience with CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity. Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server, Windows and Linux administration, with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
