Description
The Procurement team is pivotal to both the Sales and Service Delivery areas of Amber and is responsible for negotiating and securing energy contracts ranging from energy spends of around Β£100,000 up to multi-million pound contracts. We focus on tailoring bespoke procurement solutions for our clients and partnering them with the right supplier, ensuring exceptional service.
What will you be doing?
- Undertake the tendering process for gas, electricity and water and produce analysis and recommendations through an executive summary.
- Be the Procurement Lead for assigned clients, with responsibility for all procurement activity for them.
- Provide procurement advice and support in developing procurement strategies for assigned clients.
- Attend client meetings, calls and virtual meetings as the Procurement Lead for assigned accounts.
- Ongoing development of procurement knowledge and keeping up to date with all regulatory and product changes.
- Manage our systems in line with company processes.
- Manage documentation in line with company standards.
- Resolve queries swiftly and effectively in line with company procedures.
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with sales agents, account managers, colleagues and suppliers.
- Supporting the wider needs of the business, as and when required.

- Strong IT skills- MS Excel, MS Word.
- Experience within an Energy Procurement role or similar function.
- Knowledge of a range of energy procurement products.
- An excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an exceptional work ethic.

- Salesforce (experience desired but not essential).
